| Picometrics SA develops and manufactures Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF) detectors. LIF detection is essential for the measurement of trace levels of a broad variety of compounds of biochemical and clinical importance in small sample volumes. It is commonly used with Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) or HPLC (conventional, micro or nano LC) systems. These high-sensitivity detectors provide nano/picomolar LOD range (10-9 to 10-12 M) with a sample injection of only a few micro/nano liters.
CE LIF main applications areas are Immunoglobulin’s , Carbohydrate (ex; Pharmaceutical industrial in vaccines area) , Oligonucleotides , Neuramines and Catecholamine’s. Fast & Capillary LC main applications areas are: Neuramines and Catecholamine’s and Mycotoxines
