Key Learning’s:
USP<231> : The traditional methodologies & analytical techniques used in the industry for testing of heavy metals in drugs and dietary supplements has posed several challenges. The growing need for a better control on heavy metal contents, will result in modifications that will be introduced in the general chapter <231> . This event will help you understand better the upcoming regulatory trend and the available options you would have for your laboratory to better adapt to these regulatory needs.
USP<467> : On July 1, 2008, the USP released a new major revision of it's general chapter <467>: now entitled Residual Solvent Analysis. Using the risk based approach solvents have been broken down in three classes with different requirements for maximum limits. Over the last few years there were lots of discussions during the development of the chapter, and still today the industry is unsure on how to implement it. This event will provide you detail insight and answer your questions on effective implementation of this chapter.
USP<1058> : Qualification of analytical instruments and validation of systems is required by many national and international regulations, quality standards such as ISO 17025 and company policies.
