The Agilent 1200 Series Rapid Resolution LC (RRLC) System can be ordered in various configurations to meet the different application and performance requirements. Three configurations examples are described below, which span the full performance and functionality range of the Agilent 1200 RRLC system. Whatever system configuration is chosen as starting point - the modular, scalable and open system architecture of the Agilent 1200 RRLC system allows future expandibility and adaptability to other configurations and applications. Agilent 1200 Series RRLC System - Configuration Examples
Configuration 1
A cost-effective configuration offering full compatibility with Rapid Resolution LC, Ultra-fast LC and conventional HPLC on standard bore columns with 3 - 4.6 mm id, 10 - 300 mm length and particle sizes from 1.8 to 10 µm. This configuration includes the Agilent 1200 Series VWD SL Plus for high-speed single-wavelength UV-Vis detection
Configuration 2
The most flexible standard configuration offering full compatibility with Rapid Resolution, Ultra-fast and conventional LC and LC/MS on narrow and standard bore columns with 2.1 - 4.6 mm id, 10 - 300 mm length and particle sizes from 1.8 to 10 µm. This configuration includes the DAD SL for highest-speed multi-wavelength and full spectral UV-Vis detection for peak purity analysis and spectral conformation.
Configuration 3
A sophisticated high-throughput configuration with alternating column regeneration (ACR) that offers ultimate throughput of up to 2000 samples per day - in a sequential manner without loss in performance or method flexibility. This configuration provides full compatibility with Rapid Resolution, Ultra-fast and conventional LC and LC/MS on narrow and standard bore columns with 2.1 - 4.6 mm id, 10 - 300 mm length and particle sizes from 1.8 to 10 µm. It includes the Agilent 1200 Series DAD SL for highest-speed multi-wavelength and full spectral UV-Vis detection for peak purity analysis and spectral conformation.
