Choice of Systems - Tailored to Your Needs

Built on the solid foundations of the market leading 7500ce, the new 7500cx collision/reaction cell ICP-MS takes ICP-MS to a new level of simplicity and productivity by incorporating pure helium collision mode as the default acquisition mode. The 7500cs is produced specifically for the semiconductor industry.

7500cx ICP-MS

The 7500cx is revolutionizing interference-free routine analysis across a wide range of sample types from wastewater, seawater, and soils to foods and biological samples. It exhibits the largest dynamic range of any ICP-MS, the lowest oxide levels, and unmatched interference removal capability using Agilent’s proprietary and simple-to-use Octopole Reaction System (ORS) operating in pure helium gas mode. Furthermore, a high energy ICP source, novel ion optics, and a high-transmission ORS cell give the 7500cx excellent sensitivity enabling low ppt detection limits for the widest suite of elements even in complex matrices.

7500cs ICP-MS

The 7500cs extends the scope of ICP-MS for semiconductor applications. Featuring a high-sensitivity version of the ORS, the 7500cs resolves even the toughest analytical challenges faced by the semiconductor lab. The interference removal power of the ORS allows the 7500cs to measure all analytes at high plasma power, for easy analysis of difficult samples such as sulfuric acid. Unmatched cool plasma performance is also available for full flexibility in operation.

Manufacturing Standards

To complement the high standards of product design, the Agilent 7500 Series is manufactured in state-of-the-art production facilities to the highest quality standards.

  • All stainless steel chassis
  • New Active Flow Control mass flow controllers
  • Fully automated ICP torch positioning
  • New high-efficient digital drive ICP RF generator
  • True hyperbolic profile quadrupole
  • High-speed simultaneous detector

Opening up New Possibilities for ICP-MS

Agilent's range of sampling peripherals and optional software further enhance productivity and open up new applications possibilities for ICP-MS.

  • Integrated Sample Introduction System (ISIS)
Agilent's unique ISIS sampling system is available as an upgrade to any 7500cx and 7500cs instrument, and is also available to users of older 4500 and 7500 Series instruments. ISIS enables automated sample introduction, autodilution and even on-line sample preparation, significantly increasing sample throughput.

  • Integrated Autosampler (I-AS)
The I-AS is a fully integrated, covered autosampler for ultra trace analysis of commonly occurring elements. It is highly suitable for applications where the risk of contamination needs to be minimized, including semiconductor applications.

  • GC-ICP-MS Interface
Agilent is leading the way with fully integrated chromatography-ICP-MS solutions. Fully integrated GC-ICP-MS is used to separate and quantitate ultra trace levels of organometallic compounds in a wide range of matrices.

  • LC-ICP-MS Interface
Analysts are increasingly interested in the state in which an element is present, rather than total elemental concentration. Agilent has the solution with a fully integrated LC-ICP-MS system.

  • Plasma Chromatographic Software
The Agilent 7500 is the first ICP-MS platform designed and optimized for easy coupling with chromatographic techniques such as LC and GC. Combined with Agilent's ICP-MS Plasma Chromatographic software - Plasma Chrom - the 7500 is the perfect tool for speciation measurement.
