The Agilent Two-Color RNA Spike-In Kit contains two spike mixes, each comprising 10 in vitro synthesized, polyadenylated transcripts in predetermined ratios. Each transcript is designed to hybridize specifically to the control probes on Agilent’s microarrays. This kit is a required component of the Agilent dual-mode Gene Expression Platform.

  • Sample required per reaction is 200 ng of Poly A(+) RNA, or 50 - > 2000 ng total RNA
  • Spike-In transcripts specifically anneal to complementary control probes on Agilent’s microarrays, with minimal self- or cross-hybridization
  • 200-fold dynamic range; 0.1 – 10 ratio range
  • Contents include all required reagents including spike mixes and buffer
  • Kit should be stored initially at –80°C for up to one year from date of receipt. Diluted spike mixes can be stored at –20°C for up to 2 months.
