Agilent is proud to offer a "certification program" to those Microarray Service Labs that wish to provide the highest quality data to their customers. Regardless of the application of interest - gene expression (GE), array comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH), chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP-on-chip), splice variant analysis, DNA methylation, or microRNA (miRNA) - the complete offerings of the Agilent microarray platform are available. A minimum set of requirements must be met in order to participate in this program.
To be eligible for CSP certification, a service laboratory must undergo additional on-site training and pass a rigorous set of assessments. Although the particular application may vary, data output always results in successful analysis of our 60-mer oligo microarrays using the complete integrated Agilent Workflow Solution:
- Sample QC - on the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer
- Sample Labeling - using Agilent microarray reagents, kits, and optimized protocols
- Hybridization - in SureHyb chambers
- Scanning and Analysis - on the Agilent DNA microarray scanner with Feature Extraction Software
- Final Data Analysis - using GeneSpring software
Once these criteria are met, the Service Laboratory is awarded a certificate of completion. This certification ensures CSP customers will receive superior microarray processing and data with regards to quality, reproducibility, and reliability.
Please contact your local sales representative if you wish to discuss this further.
