ZORBAX High Pressure Guard Cartridge 
This product is required for use with ZORBAX guard cartridges. ZORBAX guard cartridges (2.1 mm or 4.6mm i.d.) are used to protect the analytical columns (2.1 mm, 3.0 mm, and 4.6 mm i.d.) from contamination and particulates. These cartridges and their associated analytical columns are typically used with a standard, analytical-scale 1100 series HPLC. They are NOT used with the capillary, nano, or prep LCs. In addition to the hardware kit, replacement inlet and exit end fittings are also available separately.

This product replaces Agilent part number 820777-901.

Features
    • Direct Connect outlet fitting - Provides a minimum dead volume connection between the guard cartridge and the analytical column
    • Finger-tight outlet fitting- Finger-tight nut can be adjusted to any column to ensure a zero-dead volume connection. A steel nut and ferrule (not included) should be used above 3000 psi/200 bar.
    • Operates at high pressure - If a steel nut and ferrule are used instead of the finger-tight outlet setting, the new hardware can operate up to 6000 psi/400 bar.
    • Accomodates both 4.6 mm and 2.1 mm i.d. cartridges
    • Replacement parts available - Can replace either the inlet or outlet fitting if they become damaged or worn without replacing the entire kit.
