Our Hydrocarbon Traps allow you to refill your trap and remove extremely low levels of hydrocarbons. Big Hydrocarbon Traps (BHT) are ideal for bulk purification applications or where several instruments are plumbed from a single gas source. Hydrocarbon Removal S-Traps are filled with 40/60 mesh activated charcoal and can be reconditioned. Capillary Grade Hydrocarbon Traps (HT3) feature extremely high surface area, are coconut shell-based, and are purged with ultra-high purity helium. Refillable Hydrocarbon Traps (HT200 Series) have an impregnated carbon filter media.
