The course is designed as a beginner to intermediate level class for Agilent customers and is aimed at providing a comprehensive overview of the Agilent 7500 Series ICP-MS technique and Agilent’s MassHunter Data Analysis software. Some advanced topics (e.g., laser ablation, direct organic solvent sampling, and chromatography sample introduction) are introduced, but not covered in depth.

Additional Details: Students that gain the most from this class will minimally have some experience with (1) analytical techniques; such as ICP-OES or organic mass spectrometry, (2) have experience with ICP-MS systems but not with ChemStation software, (3) persons requiring a solid overview of the technique, e.g., lab managers, graduate students.
