GeneSpring is designed for genomic-level expression analysis and easily accommodates data from both the SAGE and microarray platforms. Using GeneSpring, SAGE investigators can relate Tag count or TPM information to specific gene activity.
We now provide a Human NlaIII SAGE Genome that can be installed according to the instructions below.
- Download the file, Human NlaIII SAGE Genome.zip by right-clicking on the link and choosing 'Save Target As…'.
- DO NOT unzip the file. Drag it over the GeneSpring genome browser to install.
- Start (or restart) GeneSpring. Access the genome by going to File menu › Open Genome or Array › Human NlaIIII SAGE Genome.
- You are ready to begin loading your SAGE data.
Features of the genome provided include:
- Subset of Tags that are likely to correspond to genuine RNA sequence included in genome
- Tags extensively annotated with annotations provided by CGAP.
- Weblinks for each tag that allow you to query GEO, CGAP and other databases
- A supplementary document, Human NlaIII SAGE genome.pdf with details of several data analysis options in GeneSpring and other frequently asked questions.
We hope you find the SAGE genome useful. Please Contact Us if you are performing SAGE analysis using alternate SAGE libraries or if you have suggestions or questions about how GeneSpring can further facilitate your SAGE data analysis efforts.
