Product Description
Agilent J&W LTM column modules combine a high-quality fused silica capillary column with heating and temperature sensing components for a low thermal mass column assembly. The LTM Column module contains a patented design which heats and cools the column very efficiently for significantly shorter analytical cycle times compared to conventional air-bath GC oven techniques, while simultaneously using less power.

  • 5975T column module specifications

    Column modules include 2 LTM heated transfer lines, transferline base assembly, 3” LTM column toroid assembly, 2 ultimate unions, cooling fan assembly and sheetmetal enclosure. Entire assembly is leak tested and ready for installation into you Agilent 5975T instrument.
        • Ordering LTM Column Modules with Agilent Capillary GC Columns

          1. Choose your desired Agilent J&W DB or HP fused-silica capillary column (30 m maximum length). Part numbers can be found in your Agilent catalog or in Agilent's online store.
          2. To obtain an LTM version of the column in 5 inch diameter (standard) format, add a suffix "LTM" to the part number obtained in Step 1.
            For Agilent J&W DB columns, use the part number format xxx-xxxxLTM (for example, 122-5532LTM).
            For Agilent J&W HP columns, use the part number format xxxxxx-xxxLTM (for example, 19091S-433LTM).
          3. To obtain an LTM version of the column in 3 inch diameter (small) format, please use the custom part number 100-2000LTM for your order.
            Be sure to provide the part number obtain in Step 1 or details of your desired column as described in Step 2 with a specific request for a LTM column module in 3 inch diameter (small) configuration. The lead time for such customs will typically be 2-4 weeks.
          4. If the column dimension you need is not offered by Agilent as a standard product, it can be produced as a custom LTM column module. Please use the custom part number 100-2000LTM for your order.
            Be sure to provide the details of your desired column including stationary phase, length, inner diameter (ID), and film thickness with a specific request for an LTM column module in 5 inch (standard) or 3 inch (small) diameter configuration. The lead time for such customs will typically be 2-4 weeks.
          5. To obtain a long-leg* LTM column module, please use the custom part number 100-2000LTM for your order.
            Be sure to provide the part number obtain in Step 1 or details of your desired column as described in Step 2 with a specific request for a long-leg LTM column module.
            * “Long-leg” refers to column modules having 30 inch nominal length of column material measured from the rear of the column module assembly. Please note that standard LTM column modules have 8 inch nominal length of column material. Long-leg column modules can be used if you will not utilize guard columns (bypass the ULM unions on the LTM transfer line module).
          6. Customers in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico can request a custom column quote online. Customers outside the US and Canada should contact your local Agilent sales office or Authorized Distributor.

          Terms and Conditions for LTM Column Modules with Agilent Capillary GC Columns

          1. All LTM column modules come standard with two 1 meter guard columns (deactivated fused silica tubing) of the same internal diameter as the analytical column, one each for inlet and detector.
          2. All LTM column modules come standard with a package of five non-reusable ferrules that are appropriate for the dimensions of the guard columns and analytical columns.
          3. All LTM column modules come with a 90 day warranty.
