We recognize that it is increasingly difficult for scientists to secure funding for their work in today’s competitive research environment. Agilent is helping to ensure the success of accomplished faculty in fields of mutual interest through direct grants and collaborative research.

Agilent Early Career Professor Award
The Agilent Early Career Professor Award supports the development of talented university professors early in their careers. Winners of this award receive USD$50,000 per year over two years to fund outstanding research and establish strong collaborative ties with Agilent researchers. Review the selection criteria and application process.

Research Collaborations
Professional relationships between faculty and Agilent research staff emerge in areas of overlapping interests, and are important for generating compelling research proposals. If a proposed project aligns with Agilent’s strategic research direction, we may provide direct grants to support the research.
This month, Agilent announced support of 44 new research projects at 34 universities around the world. The project themes span the full spectrum of Agilent's interests in bio-analytical and electronic measurement technologies. Read more.
To help uncover areas of overlapping interest relating to life sciences, chemical analysis, and electronic measurements, guest lectures can be arranged for faculty traveling near Agilent research or R&D sites. This is especially useful at our largest research site in California's Silicon Valley. If such a lecture is of interest, please feel free to contact us at university_relations@agilent.com.
