This instructional video demonstrates the removal of sampling cone from the 7500 ICP-MS system. The cones should be cleaned when there are deposits on the orifice or the orifice is discolored. Due to its proximity to the torch, the sampling cone requires cleaning more frequently than the skimmer cone.
