  • What are the Steps to Search for a Compound from a Particular Library?
This is done by the parameter search function. In the extended data analysis screen, open the [View] menu and click [Parameter Search]. This takes you to the [Extended Offline Data Analysis - Parameter Search Mode] screen and opens the [Search Parameters] dialog box. Enter the library you want to use in the "Libraries" field. Select the checkbox in front of the [Compound Name] field in the [Search Parameters], and then enter the name (or part of the name) of the compound you want to search for in the text box. Next, click [Search]. The first ten entries in the library that match the entered compound name (text) are displayed. If the compound you are looking for does not appear, click [Search Again]. When you have finished searching use [Close] to close the [Parameter Search Results] screen and then, from the [View] menu, click [Data Analysis] to return to the extended data analysis mode you were in before.
