  • What are the Steps to Change the Second Network Card Bindings in Windows 2000?
      It is important to have the Network Bindings set correctly for any Windows operating system, Windows 2000 is no exception. The following rules apply to all Windows 2000 based Agilent Chemstations. 1. Ensure the Chemstation system is working and communicating with one LAN card.
      2. Add the second NIC card on the 5973N MSD system Chemstation PC. Verify the Bindings order for your Local Area Connections are correct. To change/verify the Windows 2000 Network Bindings. Click the Start button, then Select Settings-Network and Dial-up Connections. Click on the Advanced menu, then Advanced Settings... This menu has your Adapters and Bindings settings panel. Move the Local Area Connection which contains your 5973N MSD instrument parameters, to the Top of this list.
