The DASTATE.MAC file can become corrupt when the disk is full. This file is easily repaired as follows:
- Locate C:\MSDCHEM\MSEXE\DASTATE.MAC (or C:\HPCHEM\MSEXE\DASTATE.MAC) and open in Notepad. (if this file does not exist, open Notepad and skip to step 3)
- Clear all contents of this file
- Create the following 2 lines only:
NAME LOADSTATE
REMOVE LOADSTATE
- Save this file as C:\MSDCHEM\MSEXE\DASTATE.MAC (or
- C:\HPCHEM\MSEXE\DASTATE.MAC for versions G1701BA and earlier).
- Start Data Analysis and then Exit
- Exiting data analysis should write the additional lines this file normally holds.
DASTATE.MAC remembers the state of various options when you close Data Analysis, so they are set correctly when you open Data Analysis later.
