KB005040: Does pH effect the labeling of the High Sensitivity Protein 250 assay? 

Is the pH below 8.0, no labeling will take place. Is the pH above 9.0 in addition to lysine other amino acid side chains are labeled as well. The homogeneity of labeling might be affected.
