  • Is there sample carryover from one well to the next?
No, there is no detectable sample carryover. This is due to the injection scheme. The samples are sequentially injected into the separation channel from a channel intersection. This intersection is flushed with a multiple sample volume. Any remains of the previous sample are washed out by this step. The only way to see sample carryover is between chips. If one chip contains a high sample concentration and the electrodes are not cleaned between two subsequent chip runs, then a small sample carryover can be detected in the second chip. This can easily be avoided by following the standard cleaning procedure (described in the Reagent Kit Guides).
