KB000181: Why Can a Mass Spectrum Not Be Inserted in a Custom Report (Error: ''Spectrum not found'')? - LC/MS ChemStation 

There is a defect in the LC/MSD ChemStation software rev. A.05.0x whereby you cannot insert a mass spectrum in the report layout for a custom report. You will get the message "Spectrum not found" when you print the report. The attached document provides a workaround for this problem.
