  • What is the End of Guaranteed Support?

We are offering the Agilent Value Promise based on our confidence that our system design and manufacturing quality meets standards that are unsurpassed in the industry. The Agilent Value Promise guarantees you at least 10 years of use, from the date of purchase.

The 10-year Agilent Value Promise is for our Gas and Liquid chromatography systems, including GC/MS, LC/MS and ICP-MS. The Agilent Value Promise translates into a safe purchase with an assurance that we will stand behind our systems to maximize your return on investment.

There are three steps as mentioned below. Please refer enclosed document for details. Please contact your Agilent Technologies representative to know more.

      Step 1.
      Current Production.

For instruments in current production, you’ll receive all the support services you’ve come to expect for your Agilent system, including:

      • columns
      • maintenance
      • consulting
      • consumables
      • repairs
      • training
      • supplies
      • compliance
      • E-seminars.

      Step 2.
      End of production.

When an instrument reaches end of production, we’ll inform you as your instrument enters its final seven-year support period. You’ll experience no changes in the availability of service, parts or support.

      Step 3.
      End of guaranteed Support.
End-of-Guaranteed-Support dates refer to when the inventory of spare parts is expected to expire for Agilent instruments that are no longer being manufactured. After these dates, we can no longer guarantee repair and maintenance for these systems. This also means that we cannot continue their existing service contacts or assure per-incident repair.
