KB001090: How do I link an external program to GeneSpring GX? 

To send data from GeneSpring GX to an external program such as SAS for further analysis, you will need to link GeneSpring GX to the external program via a tool called External Program Interface (EPI).

To do this, select "New External Program" from the File menu. Fill in the appropriate information in the window, such as External Program name, Command, inputs and outputs.
