Agilent Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis Software Patches Download Area
The following software patches are available for download. Click on the patch you wish to download. At this point your browser will probably ask you what it should do with the file. Select "Save File" or similar option and download the patch to an empty subdirectory on your hard disk. For ZIP archives you will need PKUNZIP or similar utility to expand the ZIP file. Once the archive is expanded, follow the directions in the readme file.
Note: Only apply a patch to the particular revision of the Agilent software product for which it was intended. Applying patches to the incorrect revision of Agilent software may result in corruption of your application software and your data.
The MassHunter Qualitative Analysis B.01.03 Patch 2 fixes the following problems:
PVCS# 12827 The user opens a data file and runs Find Compounds by Auto MS/MS. Then, they select the first 10 compounds or so and generate formulas. Some work, others throw exceptions.
Traced to computing impossible fragment formulas (with more H atoms than the precursor formula) then trying to subtract to get the neutral loss.
Patch 2 is cumulative in that it fixes all the following problems fixed in Patch 1:

PVCS# 12721 Ability to independently specify the extraction data format (peak vs profile) for chromatogram extraction and spectrum extraction (to speed up EIC generation for Dual mode data files)
PVCS# 12722 Ability to report only Identified compounds
PVCS# 12723 Ability to open LC only files
PVCS# 12724 DataAccess calibration fix
PVCS# 12725 Latest help text file
PVCS# 12670 Fix database file format processing
PVCS# 12421: Round trip saving and restoring of spectrum results could produce incorrect spectra. Occurred only when peak spectra had background subtraction with scans from both the start and end of the peak.
PVCS# 12727 mzData export fixed two problems:
a) when turning off the peak filters (uncheck the checkboxes), the filters are still being applied.
b) when the peak filters are on, but the thresholds are set to 0, there are fewer peaks generated than when the filters are turned off.
PVCS# 12728 BaseDataWriter fixed truncation error
