HotFix 60 On ECM 3.3.1 systems with Oracle ECM Databases it may be impossible to set an archive storage location to inactive. This issue is documented in Agilent's software incident system as incident #16847. The problem is due to a missing foreign key constraint on the LCDF table, which results in orphaned entries in this table when locations, cabinets, drawers or folders are deleted within ECM. This hotfix resolves the problem by first deleting the orphaned table entries and then establishing the correct constraints on the database table. Wednesday, June 25, 2008 Download (5.2 KB)

HotFix 55 This hotfix is only applicable to Agilent Cerity ECM systems. Do not apply this hotfix on an Agilent OpenLAB ECM system. Agilent released two ECM 3.3.1 products. The two products are OpenLAB ECM 3.3.1 and Cerity ECM 3.3.1. Both products are identical except for the description stamp on the installed files. This difference in description stamp causes the files to have different checksum values. ECM 3.3.1 Hotfix 45 corrected an issue with hotfix 31 for ECM version 3.3.1. Hotfix 31 for ECM 3.3.1 incorrectly checked for files updated by the OpenLAB BPM software. As a result, the ECM Server Base Installation Qualification would fail. ECM 3.3.1 Hotfix 45 corrected this error by creating a new MDA file that checked all of the ECM Server base files without checking for the files updated by BPM. As a result of this update, all of the files not updated by ECM Hotfix 31 or ECM Hotfix 45 would fail in the ECM Server Base IQ report for Agilent Cerity ECM systems. Hotfix 26 This hotfix was updated on January 31, 2007 to provide instructions for customers whose users are not local administrators on their PCs. No files besides the instructions were changed as part of this update. Customers who have already applied this hotfix do not need to make any changes to their systems.

ECM Fixes:

Files with a # symbol in the filename cannot be viewed or retrieved from ECM. [VI 36744]

Copy link function - either secure or unsecure - the resulting link does not open the file. [VI 37283]

BPM Fixes:
-----------
BPM workflows do not support synonyms. [VI 35035]

The ECM Server Base IQ fails when BPM and ECM hotfix 08 are installed on the same ECM server. [VI 35572]

BPM workflow fails with "invalid tag specified" if using metadata tag for file from "Attach ECM file" step in parent workflow.[VI 36591]

BPM does not support electronically signing PDF files that are part of a workflow [VI 36854]
