Agilent Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis Software Patches Download Area
The following software patches are available for download. Click on the patch you wish to download. At this point your browser will probably ask you what it should do with the file. Select "Save File" or similar option and download the patch to an empty subdirectory on your hard disk. For ZIP archives you will need PKUNZIP or similar utility to expand the ZIP file. Once the archive is expanded, follow the directions in the readme file.
Note: Only apply a patch to the particular revision of the Agilent software product for which it was intended. Applying patches to the incorrect revision of Agilent software may result in corruption of your application software and your data.
A situation may occur on MassHunter systems where at the conclusion of generating a report with MassHunter Acquisition (e.g. Autotune or Acquisition Method) or Quantitative Analysis, an MS Excel error message will appear of:
Error in App_WorkbookOpenAutomation error"
OK
The report is successfully generated and saved to the hard disk. However, the error message is annoying and needs to be "clicked away" constantly.
The error message is much more likely the faster the PC used to generate MS Excel-based reports.
This patch will fix this problem. Installation instructions are included in Service Note G6410A-71.
