Preface
-------------------------
This Software Status Bulletin (SSB) documents all known problems in the software
product designated above. The SSB is derived from Known Problem Reports (KPR)
which result from user problems that have been classified as documentation
problems or software defects. When a KPR is written, an identifying number is
assigned to it, and the KPR is added to the next edition of the SSB.
User inputs that have been classified as Enhancement Requests are not documented
in the SSB. User problems that have been submitted, but that have not been
classified by the time the SSB is generated are not included in the SSB.
How to use the SSB
-------------------------
When you experience a problem with a product, first check this SSB to see if the
problem has been reported already, and if there is a temporary workaround
available for the problem, or if the problem has already been fixed by a new
revision. If the problem is not listed in this SSB then you may wish to report
it to the Response Center or to your field support representative.
To determine if your problem is documented in this SSB, first look in the
"Keyword Index" section of the SSB. Under each keyword is a listing of one-line
descriptions of related KPRs. If any of these sound like yours, locate the KPR
# in the "Known Problem Reports" section of the SSB, and read the full KPR. The
KPRs in the "Known Problem Reports" section are sorted by KPR #.
There are two sections in the SSB:
Keyword Index: This index is categorized by keyword. For each KPR there is a
brief description and a KPR #. A KPR may be associated with more than one
keyword.
Known Problem Reports: This section contains KPRs, with all the available
information relevant to the problem. KPRs in this section are sorted by KPR #.

S/SL Pressure Decay test
The inlet must be set to SPLIT or the test will fail.
Executing the test will not change the inlet from Splitless to Split. The way the test is set up, it will fail if the inlet is Splitless.
When the GC inlet is splitless, Septum purge remains on and the GC will never ready after the inlet is capped off.

A PC and an instrument are taken off the site lan and connected via a crossover cable (trivial LAN). The PCs IP adress is changed from 130.30.x.y to 10.1.1.100 and the instrument's IP adress is changed from 130.3.a.b to 10.1.1.101. Then the user attempts to manually connect the instrument at the new address, but connection never occurs.

Set 7890 EMF's to trigger a warning, then a limit.
As the warning is logged, it also adds to the Current advisories table.
When the same resource crosses its limit, that item is logged and the item overwrites the previous item in the advisory table, changing its type icon; however, the time does not update, remaining the same as the warning threshold.

Problem:
When accessing tests for any component, file download dialogs appear (See pic) On clicking Open, the file (description of the selected test) is downloaded and opened in a separate window. The description is not loaded into the Test Description pane under the test selection box. The downloaded files are not retained, requiring another download each time a test is accessed or at least requiring the user to cancel the download.

Uninstall Microsoft update KB2416400 and turn off auto-update.

When an IQT report is generated a second time under Windows Vista, it can happen that the file is not saved on disk, although the save dialog tells you it was.
Saving under Windows XP occurs without a problem.

1. Run "Command Prompt" as "Run as administrator"
2. Select "Agilent Instrument Utilities B.01.03" or "Agilent Lab Advisor B.01.03" in IQT Wizard screen
3. Push "Run IQ" in IQT Wizard screen
4. Push Yes button in iqtwizard confirmation screen
5. Create IQT report file on C:\Program Files\IQT Wizard\IQReports folder

Unreadable PDF Report
Problem:
Reports generated on one operting system and viewed on a different operating system may be unreadable. For example, a report generated on a Windows XP operating system and viewed on Windows Vista operating system may be unreadable.
Temporary Solution:
When reviewing PDF reports always view (open) the reports on the same type of operating system where the report was generated.
Fix Information:
This is a Microsoft issue and a fix is not available at this time. Moved because we are obsoleteing the "Out of Agilent Control" state.
