Innovative pre-clinical MRI software platform

The SWIFT MRI platform is a powerful new tool that increases diagnostic accuracy and efficiency for physicians and patients. Agilent is pleased to be the only current commercial distributor of the SWIFT platform which is available exclusively to pre-clinical MRI researchers in a variety of disciplines. The MRI capacity of most systems can be significantly enhanced with the range of new techniques and imaging methods made possible by the platform. The SWIFT package is not available in the basic MRI software platform but is available as an add-on.

Ability to significantly expand current MRI capabilities, delivering single modality, diagnostic quality imaging of both hard (bone, cartilage) and soft tissue tissues.
Swept frequency excitation utilized resulting in MR imaging more tolerant to static magnetic field inhomogeneity.
Ability to effectively image tissues surrounded by air (such as lungs and sinus cavities) that are difficult to image well with standard MRI techniques.
SWIFT technology delivers imaging that is less sensitive to motion and flow artifacts as it has no “echo time.”
