CryojetXL
Ice-free cooling

The super-quiet CryojetXL by Oxford Instruments is an open flow nitrogen gas blower that is compatible with all of Agilent’s X-ray diffractometers and can be controlled and programmed remotely via the CrysAlisPro software. It can cool crystal samples and maintain temperatures between 90 and 300 Kelvin, with no risk of icing or nozzle blockages, thanks its innovative design. The device has a large cooling volume which can be supplemented with the optional Autofill system that replenishes the device’s liquid nitrogen dewar during extended cryo experiments.

Features
  • Wide temperature range (90-300 Kelvin) with ±0.1 K temperature stability
  • Simple operation, with temperature and gas flow settings adjusted using the Cryojet Electronic Controller unit
  • Full monitoring and control of the device through CrysAlisPro, including web-based control and the ability to queue up a series of experiments at different temperatures (e.g. for phase change studies)
  • No nozzle icing or blocking – a shielding ring of dry nitrogen gas around the central cold flow prevents any build up of ice
  • Compact design – no pumps or compressors saves valuable laboratory space
  • No moving parts or mechanical pumps - quiet operation, minimal maintenance and long-term reliability
  • Automated warming up and shutting down of the device at the end of an experiment
  • Optional Autofill system to replenish the Cryojet dewar during extended diffraction experiments
