PAMPA (Parallel Artificial Membrane Permeability Assay) assays are used to predict drug permeability early in drug discovery in order to eliminate poor performers and/or to identify compounds that require modification. Mass spectrometry is the preferred analysis method for this assay due to its sensitivity, specificity and robustness.
However, PAMPA assays are usually analyzed using tandem MS, which is limited by its requirement for compound dependent method development. Using the RapidFire High-throughput TOF system, Agilent in-house scientists perform PAMPA assay analysis faster and more efficiently, enabling us to turnaround your assay analysis in just three (3) days.
