LC/MS and LC/MS/MS Forensic Toxicology Application Kits
Fast screening with easy-to-use Application Kits
Toxicological analysis of biological samples is challenging due to the large number of trace-level analytes to be identified and confirmed. Agilent LC/MS and LC/MS/MS Forensic Toxicology Application Kits, including either an Accurate Mass Database, an Accurate Mass Database with Spectral Library, or a Dynamic MRM database, are ready to use and allow quick, efficient method development. The Accurate Mass database for the TOF or Q-TOF LC/MS, the Accurate Mass Database with Spectral Library for the Q-TOF LC/MS and the Dynamic MRM database for the Triple Quadrupole LC/MS contain toxicology compounds commonly monitored around the world and provide fast, customized method development of the compounds to be screened. The analysis methods provided in the application kits use the latest technologies to improve lab productivity.

Features
The Forensic Toxicology Application Kit (G6855AA) for the Agilent LC TOF/Q-TOF contains an Accurate Mass Personal Compound Database (PCD) with more than 6000 Toxicology compounds. The database provides component names, formulas, monoisotopic masses, CAS numbers, and chemical structure graphics.
The Forensic Toxicology Application Kit (G3876AA) for the Agilent LC Q-TOF contains a 7500-compound Forensic/Toxicology PCD Accurate Mass Database, the
2500-compounds MS/MS Broecker, Herre & Pragst PCDL Spectral Library
and the Library (PCDL) software. Using QTOF technology for screening of forensic/toxicology compounds allows you to retain all spectral data, not just the original mass range of interest. That means data can be re-interrogated anytime to investigate samples further. A PCD to PCDL upgrade (G3877AA) is also available which allows you to upgrade the G6855AA Application Kit with the Spectral Library.
The Forensic Toxicology Application Kit (G1734AA) for the Agilent Triple Quadrupole LC/MS contains a Dynamic MRM Database that contains multiple transitions for more than 200 drugs of abuse. The database provides compound names and MRM transitions (including fragmentor and collision energy).
An LC column is included in the application kits to validate the methods. A Toxicology test sample of representative analytes is used to check out the screening methods provided with the Application Kit.
A DVD with method and data files, application note and quick start guide enables a fast start up by providing analysis examples of toxicology screening using the database/library.
