SDS-Protein
In the area of protein separations, much research has into
SDS-gels for size-based separations. Both standard SDS-PAGE gels
and linear gels with SDS have been employed. The separation of
size standards has been employed using cross-linked polyacrylamide
alternatively, linear dextran polymers have also been used since
they offer higher gel stability and lower background absorbance
at low wavelengths.
