Reduce repair – and requalifications – in regulated labs with Intelligent Services

Lab managers working in regulated environments often feel they can’t take advantage of cutting-edge innovations because they can make only limited changes before their systems need to be requalified. While some changes do indeed impact qualification, you can implement Agilent Intelligent Services for remote instrument monitoring and diagnostics without the need to requalify your systems. Asset Report tracks and monitors instruments to minimize downtime.

How can remote diagnostics tools limit the need to requalify instruments? It’s simple. Intelligent Services Asset Report provides you with information you can use to reduce instrument failures and therefore requalifications. Intelligent Services monitors instrument usage and utilization and puts this information at your fingertips via an on-line asset reporting portal. Using the portal, you can easily plan maintenance and service visits according to actual use rather than calendar time. With a detailed Asset Report for each system you’ll be able to review system counters and diagnostics parameters, and replace high-wear parts before system failures occur. You’ll also see usage-trends so you can easily plan instrument service around your laboratory schedules. All this information helps you reduce failures and requalifications, and makes maintaining peak operating performance more convenient than ever.

In addition Intelligent Services helps make the task of keeping your inventory up to date easier for your lab. The Intelligent Services Asset Report continually tracks the location, configuration, serial numbers, and firmware revisions of all your connected instruments. You’ll also be able to monitor instrument utilization to answer laboratory productivity questions like these:

Intelligent Services’ firewall-friendly infrastructure includes proxy support, encryption, and 128-bit SSL certificate-based authentication – the same level of security financial institutions use to guard their data. In addition, Intelligent Services operates apart from your instrument’s chromatography data system to collect only the specific early maintenance feedback (EMF), diagnostic, and status information that is necessary for troubleshooting and reporting.
