Service Tip: Protect your hardest working instruments with enhanced maintenance

That’s why we now offer an Agilent Enhanced Preventive Maintenance program that takes a proactive approach to parts replacement. Unlike a standard PM service which replaces many parts only on an as-needed basis, the Enhanced PM service replaces parts in the sample and solvent pathway each time the instrument is serviced. This way, the parts that experience heavier than average wear and tear never get the chance to reach the point of failure. And that means you get an extra level of protection against instrument breakdowns.
Agilent’s Enhanced Preventive Maintenance is ideal for LC and GC plus headspace systems that operate in high-use environments, and LC and LC/MS systems that run dirty samples or use harsh solvents. The Enhanced Preventive Maintenance service includes:
- Expert cleaning, adjusting, lubricating, and inspecting of your system according to proven maintenance procedures
- Replacement of most sample pathway components of the G1888A headspace sampler
- Proactive replacement of most solvent pathway components of LCs and the LC portion of LC/MS systems, regardless of condition
- Replacement of deuterium detector lamps in LCs and LC/MS systems
- Travel expenses and labor for an Agilent service professional to visit your site
