Topics covered are the macro environment, available key commands and their use in Data Analysis. Example macro programs will be provided to illustrate how it all goes together. The examples used are based on actual solutions to users requests for customized outputs.

Prerequisites:
Good working knowledge of GC-MS software products or completion of course H4043A or H4076A. Some experience with basic computer programming (eg. a computer programming course) is desired.
Equipment: Agilent provided laptop PC's using Agilent MS ChemStation software. 
Student Profile: An advanced user who wishes to utilize the macro programming language to create customized outputs, or for altering existing reports.
