Description: |
The class will feature hands-on experience analyzing copy number and SNP microarray data within GeneSpring GX 11. The day will begin with an overview of the GX 11 interface and terminology. Students will then learn how to setup experiments in GX 11 with Affymetrix and Illumina data. This will include data import, normalization and quality control steps. Students will then learn how to perform copy number and LOH analyses, filtering and how to find common regions of variation across samples. The course will include details on visualising results in the genome browser |
