| Description: |
This course teaches the analyst/supervisor the how-to’s for the ChemStation Plus software. ChemStation Plus is ChemStation instrument control, data acquisition and data processing software with ChemStore data organization and management database and the Security Pack regulatory compliance package. ChemStation instruction covers the basics of creating a quantitative method and sequences to analyze complete sets of samples within the ChemStation Plus environment. ChemStore topics will cover basics of setting up a study & custom fields, data transfer, query & reporting. The Security Pack functions are discussed as they apply to each topic for operation of ChemStation with ChemStore.

A knowledge of the use of the appropriate (GC, LC, or LC-MSD) ChemStation or attendance in the appropriate 3-day ChemStation Data Analysis and Reporting class or attendance in the appropriate multi-day instrument operator class. |

Agilent provided computers with WinNT Workstation and Agilent ChemStore software.

| Student Profile: |
This course is designed for chemists or laboratory supervisors who have responsibilities for operation of the ChemStore system to generate analytical data and reports. Technicians, who are only responsible for operating the system according to established procedures within the established configuration, may also attend this course although functionality covered will likely include procedures beyond their normal system privileges. |
