Prerequisites: Techniques of Gas Chromatography (H4002A) or at least six months experience with the operation of the Agilent 5890.
Equipment: Agilent 5890 Series II Gas Chromatograph with Packed Inlet & Split/Splitless Inlets, Flame Ionization & Thermal Conductivity Detectors, Agilent 3396 Series II Integrator, Agilent 7673B Autosampler.
Student Profile: Someone with a fundamental knowledge of GC who has the responsibility of troubleshooting and maintaining an Agilent 5890 GC. This person may be someone primarily involved in the repair of rather than daily operation of the instrument.
