When
installing a gas chromatograph (GC), one of the most
important considerations is to ensure that the gas
delivery system is designed for safe and optimum
performance.
The gas
delivery system for your GC consists of one or more types
of gases and all the related equipment needed to deliver
the gas from its origin (either a gas cylinder or from a
gas generator) to the instrument. Equipment includes
tubing and support equipment, pressure regulators,
gas purification systems, and flow meters.
