GeneSpring GX10 needs an emergency patch in order to run on the new Snow Leopard operating system for the MAC. The patch is a single file that needs to be placed in a specific directory, after the GeneSpring product has been installed. Without this patch, the GeneSpring product will fail to launch. The replacement file is available for download below.

The installation instructions are
1. Make sure that GeneSpring is not running.
2. Download the tool.jar file.
3. Navigate to the following directory: INSTALL_DIR/bin/packages/spring/tool/1.4/lib
4. Rename the file called tool.jar to tool.jar.OLD.
5. Copy the tool.jar file downloaded above into that directory.
